I watch a lot of daytime court TV shows.
You know: Judge Judy, People's Court, Divorce Court
Well, on Divorce Court she always asks why the couple is getting a divorce.
And the woman always mentions how her husband always leaves the toilet seat up.
...and how she falls in the toilet in the middle of the night.
As a daughter, friend, and wife...
let me just tell you that I've walked in to the bathroom hundreds of times to find that someone left the seat up.
And in my 23 years (and about 21 of using the toilet), I have never fallen into the toilet.
NEVER.
So tell me.... does this actually happen?
Do some women fall in toilets?

I hope not. My sisters trained me from a young age about toilet seats, so I guess I can sleep well at night knowing a divorce isn't on the horizon.
I hate to admit this, but during our first year of marriage, it was a constant battle to get Dave to put the toilet seat down. I kept telling him that one day I would fall in, and of course, he said I was being ridiculous. Well, as fate would have it, I woke up in the middle of the night and had to pee. In a sleep induced daze, I stumbled into the bathroom and went to sit on the porcelin throne, not bothering to look because I thought the seat was put down. However, to my great disappointment and shock, it was not and Dave woke up to my startled scream! Needless to say, after that, Dave has done a great job at remember to put the seat down. :)
