Attention!

Mustache humor is not funny.  I don't get it.  Quit trying to make it happen.  It's not going to happen.

The following commonly-pinned items are also not funny:

Sure, the first baby with a mustache that I saw made me smile, but enough already!  I just feel like I needed to intervene because mustache humor is quite possibly as dumb as Chuck Norris humor.  It is out of the goodness of my heart that I am trying to help you poor, misguided folks.

WOW!

So, I'm putting together some ideas of things G might like for Christmas.  (He isn't getting much, but I just want to see what's out there... there are so many cool baby toys!)  So I started a wishlist on Target, but they didn't have one of the things that I think Steve will really like to get for G.  So I went to Amazon and started a wishlist there.  But did you KNOW that Amazon has a Universal Wishlist??  That's right.  I added an "Add to Wish List" button to my bookmark tool bar.  Like on Pinterest, whenever I am on a webpage (anywhere) I can click that and it adds the item to my wish list!! It's nice and organized with pictures and all!  I hope this is news to you, too and I'm not that far behind!  I love technology!

"Babies Need to Laugh"

So, G completed the summer reading program at the library and one of his prizes was a free book from the cart of books that the library is getting ready to toss.  On that cart, there were lots of dumb books... and lots of books in Spanish.  I took about 5 minutes trying to find one that was halfway decent.  I found a book called "Babies" and it has been sitting on G's bookshelf ever since.  Well, the other day, G pulled it out and started looking at it.  I took it and read it to him and now, this is what happens every time we read it! (And we can't just read it once--we have to read it 5 times in a row... at least it's short!)  I don't know why it's so funny!

(Notice how he was laughing before he noticed Steve was taping him?  That's how he laughs throughout the whole book when there's no one trying to catch it on film!)

Grandmas

I was perusing the clearance section on BabiesRUs and found this.  I learned a very valuable lesson:  My mother is not the only grandma who knows everything.  It looks like everyone's grandma gives their "You should do..." and "You should not..." and "He did WHAT?!?!"s.  This is comforting... I think... :)  Or a little unsettling that I will probably end up doing the same thing with my grandkids!

(PS-  My mother cannot say anything about the pacifier until G is at least 4.  That's when she finally took mine away, right Mom?)
