Saturday!

Aah.... Saturday. This is the first Saturday in a while where I have nothing to do--at all. I have nowhere I'm required to be and it feels great!

I slept in, caught up on some of my programs.....

And what am I doing now, you might ask?

Watching MTV's marathon of "The Hills" while I tidy up. (Secretly wishing it was a "16 & Pregnant" marathon instead).

Don't judge me. It's Saturday!

...but I finally spent my iTunes gift card from Christmas. I spent my iTunes gift card like a 13 year old girl.... so here's what I'll be playing on repeat for the next little while:

I'm usually not the biggest fan of Nicholas Sparks movies.... love his books, but the movies usually aren't great. I wasn't expecting The Last Song to be good, but it was PG and my mother-in-law and I wanted to go see a movie. It started off kinda weak, but got way good, surprisingly.

Go see it. Take a box of tissues.

Surprise!!

I got my yearly check-up a few weeks back and the doctor decided she wanted to schedule me for some blood work (it had been a while). So, last Saturday I had my blood drawn. They called today with the following information:

"We got the results from your blood work. The doctor said that everything looks normal. There's nothing she's concerned about. Everything looks good. The only thing that she said was a little higher than normal is your.... cholesterol... yeah, it's just a little higher than normal, but she said it's nothing she's too concerned about right now."

That was the biggest shock! (Sarcasm) Today, to congratulate myself on my exceptional cholesterol, I came home and ate some Easter candy.

I can't help it. I just really like candy.

Letters from a Concerned Fan

Dear Pandora Radio,

There is too much Dave Matthews Band on my John Mayer Radio station. Maybe I have given you the wrong impression by marking "like" to a few DMB classics... and I apologize for the misunderstanding and I will try to correct the problem as soon as possible. As long as you no longer play Jack Johnson, I'm pretty sure we'll still be friends.

Excellent job this week, as always. If I may make a suggestion, though--I kind of like the idea of Nate & Jenny. Maybe I just like the under-dog? Serena is over-rated, and if I may say so, a bit boring these days. I'm Team Jenny.

Welcome back! I'm sorry that lame things like the Winter Olympics and 3-full nights of American Idol each week kept us apart for so long.
