Fix Yourself

I have a big problem with a song that I heard the other day. "Damaged" by Danity Kane. If you have been listening to the radio in the past few weeks, chances are that you've heard it too. Some sample lyrics...

Which brings me to the problem. Should guy #2 be responsible for fixing her broken heart? Absolutely not! She should make sure that she's better before she attempts to begin another relationship. In a book that I read recently, there is a part that basically says ultimately you have to get closure on your own. It's going to suck and it's going to be hard, but it's something you need to do. So basically, Guy #2 is going to get involved and try to make this chick feel better, which isn't going to happen. So Guy #2's heart is going to be broken and guess what... he'll probably end up being the next guy I date.

Moral of the Story: Please fix yourself before you begin to date again. It will save everyone a lot of trouble.
